Project overview

Dwarfs forge was the first year major production I worked on at AIE, I worked as a designer along side a given team of 3 artist 1 programmer and another designer, and were given two months to work of the game.

much of this project was practice in working in a team, communicating ideas and experiencing the troubles of over scoping first hand, and from that perspective I’m happy with what the team would do in such a small time frame.

like most projects at the time over scoping was our biggest problem and by the end the game had to be cut down a lot which made the experience a little barren gameplay wise, the art however was always on point, no one was confused about what they were working on and it showed as visually our game is very consistently high quality.

overall as practice for working with a team I’m quite happy with the results
